About the book
“Thanks to today’s rapid information flow, the world has become a much smaller place than it was 40 years ago.

In Japan, it is said, “that which was learned by the age of 3 lives with us ’till we are 100.” We are all products of our own environment but by living in, observing and experiencing another culture, we expand our viewpoint and even come to question some aspects of our own or, more often, appreciate that which we have taken for granted.

It would be nice if this book could awaken cross cultural awareness in the minds of its readers.”
